IDEA subsidies for Youth Forum 2012
Submitted by IDEA London Staff on 18 April 2012
IDEA wants to enable the participation of students and coaches at this year’s IDEA Youth Forum in Leon through a generous scholarships fund. Teams can apply for partial or full registration fee waivers, as well as travel subsidies to cover part of the team’s airfares to Mexico.
Funding will be given out to meet the needs of countries and debate communities that face financial difficulties in attending to the Youth Forum, as well as to debaters and coaches that demonstrate their capacity to spread the knowledge and experience they gain at the Youth Forum to their own local circuit.
The Youth Forum, our annual training and competitive event that brings together students from diverse backgrounds, runs this year from 2-15 July 2012, in Leon, Mexico.
